The Enclave of the Burning Steppes is a militant enclave of Phoenix Rise. Located in Melbourne's north it claims the lands from Craigeburn to Yallambie.
Recently the lands involved were contested in the first tournament held in Craigeburn. Fighters from the Baronies of Stormhold and of Krae Glas came forth to fight for the land with Baronial guards clashing in fierce combat. The Tournament was won by a fighter from Phoenix Rise.
The current Warden of the Burning Steppes is Olaf (Morganna le fat of Prestonia), who is Warden purely by virtue of being the longest active Phoenician in the Enclave.
